Kwang Jang Nim Donald has practiced Kuk Sool for more than thirty years, beginning his studies in England in the mid 1970’s. During the next twenty years, until moving with his family to Victoria, British Columbia, he was an active member of the fledgling UK Kuk Sool Association, and for three years was Chairman of the Management Committee. During this time, Kwang Jang Nim Donald continued to learn and practice, and was privileged to receive instruction directly from Grand master Suh on a regular basis.
Now residing in Victoria, Kwang Jang Nim is a regular visitor to World Kuk Sool headquarters in Tomball (near Houston), Texas, where he attends training and testing, still learning and practicing on his ongoing Kuk Sool journey.

Personal thoughts
Do not consider Martial Art within purely physical boundaries. True, the power and exertion of physical technique, forms or sparring can be exhilarating, but consider also the wider aspects. What will I be like at age fifty, sixty, or beyond? The techniques of Kuk Sool, offer an opportunity for the student to combat not only the material attacks upon the body in the short term, but by promoting health and longevity, supplies the means for a long and active life.
Remember - “No dream is ever lost if you never cease to try”
